You’re looking for a new job opportunity or simply scrolling through LinkedIn and you find a post describing your dream job. Nonetheless, applying for a new role is always challenging and comes with a variety of emotions. From the excitement you feel when reading the job description to the boost of motivation when preparing to apply to the fear and sadness at the thought of not getting the job, these are all normal emotions that everyone is familiar with.

This article aims to make all of this a bit easier by shedding light on how the recruiting process works at Voicemod. Keep reading for a few tips on how to get a positive result if you feel we are the right fit for you.

5 Steps to a successful recruiting process:

Uploading your CV on our career page and submitting the application is just the beginning of what might be an amazing next step in your career. But don’t take my word for it! Learn more about our company values, benefits, and reviews – and then, hopefully, see for yourself. 😉

One of our values at Voicemod is Master your craft. So if you want to master your application, here are some tips you can follow. Our recruiting process normally includes 3 to 4 steps, which are all described in the job description for the role we are hiring for. So, first tip:

1. Read the job description carefully

Our job descriptions include everything you need to know about the company, the role you want to apply for, and the steps of the recruiting process. When reviewing the job description, you may discover that you’re missing some points in the requirements list. Here is some research about why you should apply anyway!

2. Fill in the application form carefully

We all know how important it is to update your CV and ensure all the details are correct. But you also want to ensure you’re giving the same care and attention to the application form. As we receive hundreds of applications, these forms are the recruiting team’s way to know you better and ensure you meet some key requirements for the role. Voicemod is a people-first company, hence, when drafting the application form, only essential information is required to make sure the time invested in the process on both sides is well spent.

Your answers in the application form reveal not only details on hard or soft skills, but information about your personality as well. Answering all the questions with a well-formulated logical response and providing a short summary of your work can show the Talent Team that you give 100% on everything you want to achieve and that you’re passionate about our company and what we’re trying to accomplish. Be honest and transparent to give us a good idea of who you are!

3. Read, read, and read

Before the first interview, be sure to read about the company and its products. This not only shows that you’re interested in the role you’re applying for but also helps you understand it better. We expect to see ownership and accountability from candidates, and what better way to show this than by preparing for every interview in advance?

4. Have a good understanding of the product

After you do the initial research about the company, it’s time to have some fun and learn about the product! You can download our apps and play with them to better understand the products you’ll be working with when you land the job. It’s not a must, but it’s definitely a bonus when we see someone who has already explored our product. People in Voicemod are passionate about what they do. We like to have fun at work! And what better way to have fun and impress the Talent Team than by falling in love with our products? No worries, downloading the app is free – but the fun you’ll have might be addictive 🤩

5. Prepare a list of questions

We consider the interview process a two-way street: We interview you and you interview us. After reading and trying our product, put together a list of questions with things you would like to know more about when meeting the team. For example, you might want to ask when you can start. Or maybe you’d like to know more details about how we work, the benefits, the type of contract, and other internal information. You don’t want to miss anything, which is why a list of questions will come in handy.

Thank you for taking the time to read this article to thoroughly prepare your candidacy.

And now, there’s only one thing left to do…
